thanks JLoranger.  I'm also hoping they turn out and make the intended weight range.  The about cried when I first strung the middle osage bow as there was an area I got a bit too thin and thought all was lost.  But I've got that worked and and then heat treated it and added some recurve so I'm hoping the weight might still make it.  I was a bit too much in a hurry that day and should have been more careful with the scrapper.   The Yew still needs more floor tillering and I'll do that when I get to MN and get out of this frantic moving mode.

Yep the deadline is coming and I had to back up and punt......had to start another a few weeks back.  Now I have to crank it up but will get it done.  Also didn't help being out of commission with my surgery and illness before that.  Oh well the bow I am working on is a hackberry 61" ttt bend in the handle.
Happy hunting to all!

Last year and this year the only Rendezvous I was able to make was the Fort Union event at the confluence of the Yellerstone and Misery Rivers.  How I wish I was heading out with you, Knapper!

I got a bow finished that could go for the trade, but I think it's lighter than what is fair for what the recipient asked.  I am working on v2.0 right now.  The one I finished came in right at 42# at 27", shoots as sweet as any I have ever turned out before and I really like it for myself.  Gonna pour my heart and soul into the next piece.

I'll be shipping out "Evenstar" tomorrow before I leave for a family trip. Maybe there will be a bow waiting for me when I get back!

Ha! good luck getting the bow out of that tube!  :o ;D It's a vacuum seal fit. At least I don't have to worry about the bow getting jostled around.  ::)

I've been on vacation the last week.  I'll get back to work on my bow Wednesday.  This bow has been battling me all the way.  I might be starting a new one by the weekend.
