it my first hackberry and i'm likeing it, Paul it cooked the belly good, then with all the heat I used trying to line up the tips it aint getting any more
ryoon I wedged a pc of walnut in far as I could and filled it with epoxy, then put the dowels in for piece of mind
as far as the cool trick I saw it somewere to get the deflex out of one limb, think it may have been Pappy doing it, i'm just a copy cat ::)

Thanks for the comments.  This picture just happens to be complimentary of the tiller.  Any other angle and you can see the bumps and dips.  Tiller's good, but not great.  Good enough I think.

Great looking progress on here fellers. I ended up reflexing the tips on my plan b bow. Got er shot in and need to make up a string and it will be good to go.
