I was shooting the bow in and noticed the string in the top nock was working to one side, then I noticed I shaped the nock a little crooked to that side so got a little adjustment to do, but she shoot's real nice

Holy Guacamole!!!

I received a long white tube yesterday with the name Paul Semprevivo on the side.  I was immediately stoked because I've seen Paul's work in the past, and I remember his trade bow in particular from the "Works in Progress" thread. Well, I used the tube as motivation to get some work done on my bow (and I made some good progress last night). But after a long and frustrating day at the office today I decided to open this bow tonight.

All my troubles melted away! It is too dark to take pictures now, but that's okay because there aren't enough megapixles in my camera to capture the grin on my face.  This thing is awesome!!!  I never new Osage was such a good bow wood O:)

I will post pics asap (probably not till Sat though) but here are some highlights:

Graceful limb profile with gentle reflex.  Beautiful finish work. A handle that just barley starts to bend at full draw.  The SKINNIEST damn tips I've ever seen with gorgeous tropical hardwood overlays. An antler arrow pass, and a very nice string with two fur silencers.

I took it outside to shoot in the fading light, just past dusk. At 15 yards the target was pretty dim... first shot, dead center and man it felt good.  I stepped back to 20 yards... second shot was within 3 inches of first.  I started to get cocky and stepped back to 30 yards... and darned if that bow didn't drill it right in there.

Paul, I can't thank you enough.  This bow will definitely be seeing some time in the woods.

And I will post some pics, it might take a few days with my crazy work schedule, but y'all need to see more of this bow.

thanks Gabe,  you just made my day was kind words like that . I knew right away that when I drew one of those West Coast boys names that it was going to be sage all the way  >:D  I am always very nervous and hopeful  when I send a bow to someone that it will be a right fit. I hope it works out for you and it was a pleasure to build you a bow.

Congrats Gabe, was wondering where Paul was gonna send that fine osage bow. I was fortunate enough to get to see and shoot
that bow a few weeks ago and its everything you described. Its cool to see that one go to someone who obviously appreciates it.
Can you believe how thin he got those tips? Looking forward to seeing the pics you post of that fine bow.

Her she is, ready for the mail man 8) Hope my recp. likes it, sorry it wasnt done for the classic but better late than never ( it is going east from me). It's been a long haul though after having to remove the skins due to a reaction with the finish, so she got a paint job instead :o 59.5' TtT, 45# at 27". shoots sweet, I'll leave the money shot for the recp. Glad I'm done now just waiting myself. Lots of nice bows being shipped out!!
