I've been chatting with j dub the last couple weeks about trying to get him to the classic....I even proposed starting the "get Jw to the classic" charity...lol.  ;)

Hope he isn't reading all this... ::)

Iowa Bow, just tell him you have an injured raptor at your house.  He will drop everything and be on his way.  The man has a passion for rescuing those beautiful birds.  If he gets mad when he finds out he was duped just hand him a piece of osage or hickory to calm him down.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I'm in for $50 and I'll donate a primo osage stave to be raffled. I did one on PP and it fetched 250.00 after the smoke cleared.  Danny

I tried to entice him to IN to be a guest speaker to all my middle school students about his profession and even threw in a free school lunch, but the mileage fees were a little out of my budget for the round trip  :o. I wonder if he could be shipped flat rate USPS ?

Last year I had planned to pick him up on my way through, but went on a hunting trip to Africa and did not make it to the Classic.  One thing I can guarantee, if he makes it to the farm, you won't need to hire any one for entertainment!  He has the quickest wit of anyone I know.  He and his young helper spent the night here a year or so ago on a trip to pick up a wounded bird.  We really enjoyed the visit!  A/Ho Joe

What the heck else does JW have to do anyway. All those raptors can be without him for a few days. Not that we need another commedian at the Classic but one more surely won't hurt!  8)

There is a "Rumor" out there that JW can ride a bicycle 800 miles in one week.
That should get him to Iowa. ;D
