Heat treating buffalo river?

What temperature does buffalo river need to be treated at? Can it be done with a turkey roaster or am i going to have to do it the old way? Any input would help a lot

I use a roaster on all my ft Payne/Horse creek/and buffalo river I collect. Be sure and get it dry before you heat. I go two days at 150. Then crank it up to 400 and leave it overnight. Experiment though, start with a 350 cycle. See if it helps what you got, if not, crank it up a little and see how that works. Depending on what you got and the grade it is depends on how hot I'll get it. 12hr hold min at highest temp and then let it cool slow.

Awesome thanks, If it helps i have about 28 slabs, 25 arrowhead and 3 knife sized ones. Im desparately trying to save money on flint.
