How do you know your limitations if you don't try Greg?

Thanks Howard ...well..its not as easily bent as osage,but it does correct/shape easily enough..just takes a lil more heat n time than osage. And locust likes to be tempered,but be careful not to overdo it or let the heat wrap around and scorch the back. I've had a couple locust staves I've taken out 90 degrees twist,corrected string tracking,n induced some reflex all in one heating/tempering session.
Turtle the limbs are +/- 1 7/8" wide in the working limbs.
Thanks Steve...unfortunetly yours is not #4...it lost a teeny bit more weight when I weighed it over the holidays...it should be ready soon tho to be bending. Osage and that design needs patience...bear with me
