rainy day reflex
« on: November 29, 2012, 03:34:08 am »
Hi all
So its raining here and my usual work space, the garage, is flooding. Luckily my girlfriend is awesome and let me set up a makeshift shop in the house!

Its a hickory backed ipe all bundled up for the holidays. Anyways, Ive made few bows and tend to play it safe and overbuild them. This one Id like to push my comfort levels. So how short can I go with this bow?
Its 72"x1.25 with 6" of reflex at the tips, 4" in from the tips there is 4" of reflex. Nonbending handle of 10". My drawlength is a tad under 30". Im aiming for 50 - 55 lbs at my DL.

Its by no means a progressive design but its time for me to start pushing myself.
Thanks all
