Looking for 7/16" steel ball bearings...
« on: November 26, 2012, 04:47:07 pm »
Hey guys,

I built a powerful little slingshot crossbow over thanksgiving, and need some 7/16" steel ball bearings to shoot. I only need a couple. PM me if you have some and we can work out a trade. Thanks.

Check out a Machine shop near you. Usually when they rebuild things with bearings they toss the old ones. You could more then likely dig through their scrap and get them for free.

7/16, try 45 cal. black powder balls-should be in that range. Thats what I shoot in my sling-they penetrate better than steel.

mullet nailed it Jon, go to a mechanics or a machine shop or a junker you'll find some bearings, might have to bust them out of the housing, Bub
