their is a very large cattail field near me where i get my arrow shafting from for my flight shooting bows. it works just fine but you would need inserts. the nocks you can cut right in to the cattails but the point you will need an insert for. i have enough to fill like 20 quivers full(just a guess). all they need to do is dry for a couple of weeks and be straightened every now and again. idk how much help this is but i will trade for them thought they are a pretty viral plant
