« on: November 11, 2012, 05:48:03 pm »
I see this osage fence post every day as it is directly across the road from my driveway. I asked my neighbor if i could have it as long as i replaced it. He said sure....... Just drive a t post in its place. Anyway i just wondered if any of you think it could be worth my time to get it?

Woha~~~~~~ interesting piece indeed, not sure what kind of stave you'll get out of it or what kind of bow but I guess anything is worth a try.

What did you say the gps heading is? >:D   I am surprised you had to ask. I would have found a broom handle or anything for a replacement post :o >:D

I dont even understand why this is even a question?! I would take that and leave a track of drool all the way to my house. Please take it along with lots of pictures.

Woah, I bet you it would of definitely been worth harvesting when it was alive.

By all means take it....and make sure to document all steps in the process;-). I know I dont need to say this....but find a good replacement post and make sure your neighbor feels he wins out on the trade too;-). Good neighbors are gold:-).
