Thats a good one Jon. Great bend on a high draw weight shorty and nice make up to boot. Love your short bow expertise.

Beautiful bow! Out of curiosity what kind of paint is best to use on a bow? I'm a newbie, and I'm making a hickory flatbow, but I'm not backing it with anything. Is paint a bad idea if the bow is not to be backed with anything? If not, then what's the best kind of paint to use?

If you wanna paint it then by all means paint it! That's what I like about something personal. Make it look like YOU want it to look. I like acrylic paints. They are cheap and I like the lack of luster to them.
