Handle wrappings

CMB, that looks damn good!  I hope to try my hand at making some deer rawhide this year if I get my deer, to use for bow backings, and for making lace for projects like that.

I did this wrap with 16ft of paracord from a local crafts store. cost was $2.50

Did a wrap  handle last year that was quick and easy, would work just as well without the "inlay" part.

Those are some way cool cord wraps. What I like about cord wraps is that if you shoot off the wrap, then you don't have a fixed arrow pass, but you can still have a nice handle. I like a symmetrical bow that I can turn around upside down and shoot if I decide the limbs aren't balanced anymore.

I thought I'd show the crochet loop I use to make hemp braided cord.

anyway here are some pics...  Keep up the loops until you have the length you want...











soak in tight bond and water mix then wrap my grip...

Yep most of my handles are wrapped nowadays too.They fit any type of contour you make on your handle.Nice textured feel too.
