Gunther barbed points...
« on: October 07, 2012, 07:34:19 pm »
Here are a few Gunthers I've made....some you may have seen and some others that are newly made.  Two are hafted on arrows and will be sent at high speed toward a whitetail this fall...just as soon as I can find some time to get in the woods!  I've been on a Gunther kick lately, and I love these little bird points, though they are tricky to make.  Some of these points are not really refined and have a bit rougher look to them, just like the originals.  I actually kinda like the rough look.  Perfect arrow points look too "manufactured" to me.  Anyway, enjoy!

You are the Gunther king! I still have the one you made me at Twin Oaks. Awesome points! I know those would dice up a dragonfly with no problem, that is, if one would sit still long enough.  :) :) :)
