I thought you folks might appreciate seeing what some of thew Scouts from Troop 90 have been up to!   Osage bows, arrows, quivers, blowguns, atlatls and sling shots!

The bow 5th from left looks like mine lol. I also had that smile when my bow actually shot some arrows, the "self worth" smile.

Thanks for the great response!  The boys had a lot of fun.  The first session had six or seven boys and one adult meet once a week for two hours.  It  too about seven weeks,  and then we repeated the effort with a second round.  All bows are shooters!  The smallest guy  has about a  28-30# bow.  He actually made two and the blow gun.  Mine came in 65" ntn and about 55#.  I carried it on opening day  last Monday.  One dad and his two sons made birch bark quivers.  One young fellow got a blue ribbon at the county fair!  Thanks to Brian Keith for setting this up and Bruce Bitterman for his patient guidance.

You should be ashamed spreading the addiction like that to small children.  >:D  Just kidding, the look on their faces is priceless, everyone of them look to be bursting with pride in the work they have done.  You should be commended on taking the time to teach them and get them interested in something that does not involve a controller or a remote.  Good Job.

Getting that many boys on the same page is amazing, Congrats to all!!!

Another reason to feel good about the future!  Someone commented on these future leaders and  they really said a mouthful.  Big thanks to everyone that shouldered the responsibility and made this happen.

 Good going by all involved, scouts, leaders, parents and instructors. Those bows look great. Enjoy shooting em Troop 90.
