Bow is outrageously nice and that sure doesn't look like pennsylvanial   Reminds me a little of the country they're in in the old moviei Northwest Passage, shot in Idaho though.

Big maple month.

Thanks again Gordon for your help tillering the bow. This is my first self bow and I just love it. I used mediam brown leather stain on the wood and a red stain under the skins. The stave was very large for vine maple, the tree was 7" to 8" in diameter. It draws and shoots so nice, that I sold all my glass bows within a month of its completion. I perfer shooting self bows only now. Greg

Great looking bow that seems like it was created with just such beautiful country in mind to use it in! Thanks for sharing the pictures of the mountains...gotta get back out there some day! ;)

Both bow and scenery as said by all were breathtaking, I really like your work Gordon, and obviously you are a good teacher too, how ya can look at the scenery there and not believe that there is a God that created it is beyond me.

Getting in here a little late but....another fine one comes partially out of Gordon's shop :). That's yet another vine maple beauty Greg and Gordon! That scenery WOW, most everyone calls home God's country but that actually looks like it ;).
