Not so bad at all for a first or tenth. Dont be afraid to round off that handle and fade area. The smoother the lines all the way around, the stronger the bow. It all adds up in the end. Very neat and clean finish work.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Take a lot of pics.  I would be quite interested in how an ash rake handle bow turns out.
