When I did the glue up I used a flat surface and rubber straps. Then I put a 1 inch board under the tip and came in about 1/3 from the tip and clamped it down. You may be right I may be starving the glue line in that area. I think by switching to a gap filling glue and scoring surfaces I may be able to avoid it in the future. As I said, my straight glue ups have been successful so far with the TB products.

That boo looks way too thick. Measure thickness with a caliper from the flat to the crown, instead of edges. 1/8 at the handle, tapering to 1/16 at the tips. I really hope that URAC isn't dead. That stuff is great!
