updated topics and recent topics option gone

I have lost my option for updated topics and recent topics at the top left side of page how do I  restore this option?

John, to the right of the words 'simple machine forum' there is a white arrow sign that is probably pointing down in your case. Click on it and see if that helps.

Seriously?!?!? Thank you... I've had it gone from my phone for over a month... I'm going to blame someone else for messing with my phone settings..
