Got My Trade Bow
« on: July 20, 2012, 07:42:01 pm »
Got my trade bow today from Sadiejane, and i'm really happy with it, it's just what i like, a nice shootin' simple stick, about 61" ntn, don't know any other stat's cause they didn't come with the bow ::) ;D, anyhow it feel's good in the hand and shoot's where ya look, it's gonna see lot's of action, i really like the feel of the bee's wax/walnut oil finish, gonna have to try it myself, thank's for a great bow Sadie ,Bub

That's a nice one, Bub. Good job, Ms Jane!!

glad ya like it bubby!
it shoots 48# @ 29".
dont be afraid to give it a good pull.
hope ya get years of shooting outta that bow.

that stick of osage was somewhat of a challenge to work.
heres a pic of its profile soon after i started on it.

this was long before i got it worked down enough to do any heat correction on it
as you can see one end ws deflexed, one reflexed
i think considering the flow of the wood it turned out pretty good
