After sitting here all day waiting for a call from someone, anyone, I just made a call to the Surgery Scheduling Department.  They informed me they do not usually call until later in the evening.  Well to make a long story short, their evening just got short, real short.

I am scheduled to have the surgery at 1:00PM tomorrow and have to be there at 11:00 AM in the morning.  Very little to go on, but supposedly the surgery is about 2 hours long and there is a 24 hour grace period of post operative surgery to see how well I am doing, or can do, and then it will be decided if I have to stay or not.  Have no idea at all, so nothing I can relay to anyone at this time.

The only reason I will be there at the time requested is because I feel it will help ME.  Because their system of informing patients lacks every thing to be desired.  To say I am a little PO'ED is putting it lightly, but feel I have to get this done if there is any hope of improvement for me.  Other wise, there would be a lot of idle people at 11:00 to 1:00 wondering where I am.

If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Thanks everyone.  I am home, now will take a lot of rest and rehab.  Still a long road to walk, but the end hopefully is closer than it was.
