I made this as a gift for the best man in my wedding last month.  I figured he wasn't the pen and pencil set kind of person.  This fits him better.

That's a great gift. Much better than a pen set..  ;) Outstanding work Eddie.

Whatcha wanna bet it's the bride that uses it first?  Or at least threatens to use it?   >:D

Of course by that time the ring will have migrated from his finger to his nose and the threat will be sufficient.  Sure glad no one gave my now ex-wife one of them.  I was a slow learner.

Nice work NuttyRaven.  I love those gunstock war clubs.

Thanks for the comments.  Joe, I bet I took a cussing over those edger blades.  They are really hard.   Jw, my wife wouldn't bother picking upnthat heavy piece of ash.  But she is the proud owner of a midnight lace obsidian knife.

You could make a beer commercial where you poke a whole in the top of the can.....or a KEG!

Heck, you could open the beer truck!

Want specs also. What wood did you use, length, dimensions, etc...
Only seen them with one blade. Looks like you doubled the trouble >:D.
In other words...ME LIKE!

Thanks guys, the next one may be covered with obsidian flakes.   >:D  The wood is ashe, 1 inch thick, but any hardwood will work for it.  The board was 6 inches wide.  I have walnut and cherry for the next two.  As for dimensions, I hate to disappoint you.  The best I can tell you is one inch thick, and 26 inches long.  Actual measurements?  I really didn't measure anything.  I layed my old CVA muzzleloader on the board and traced around the stock.  Then changed the angle of the butt to give it a little more of a dogleg look.  I think the next one will be from an 8 inch board to get more angle on the stock.
