Draw length

Im making a juniper short bow ,d-section, 46 inches nock to nock, and averages about 1 inche wide I'm planing on putting two layers of sinew. It was kinda forced into the shape it is in because of the low quality of the stave im wondering what kind of draw length I can get out of it,probably not my full 30"  ;)?

25" maybe 26" is possible.

Pat's probably about right. I would add more than 2 layers of sinew though. 1" is narrow, with two layers I would not want it to be over 40#

24 would be pushing it if it's only 1 inch wide. I've made quite a few sinew backed junipers and while it's an amazing combo it's much better to not push it to the absolute limits and keep the belly wood fresh. Sure you could probably pull it to 26 but the bellywood will be on it's way out in my experience.
