Feathers and Hunting points, stone or steel.
« on: June 13, 2012, 01:48:49 am »
I need some feathers, I have raw red osier shoots, and moose sinew. I am in Canada.

Thanks. Starting out, don't have millions of things to trade, let me know what you want, maybe I can get it.

I have a whole right turkey wing I could trade for some of those shoots.  My only worry would be the shipping costs/hassles- my wife just got bamboozled at the post office for a shipment to Canada, they wanted $25 for a priority box that weighed 4 pounds.  Oh, and customs declarations paperwork that looks to take an hour to fill out...

Shipping feathers to Canada is cheap. When you fill the Customs form just label it crafts supplies. If you say it's turkey feathers it will be grabbed at the border. Same goes for the sinew.

Arrows, I have some turkey feathers, I have left wing that have been split and some that have also been ground.  I also have lots of secondaries, right and left, that have not been split.  I would be interested in some of that moose sinew.

I've never shipped a bow, but I have shipped several staves and other stuff across the border.  I do like Mullet said.  "Craft supplies" on everything.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I have always labeled everything going to canada just like it is, stone knife, turkey feathers, stone points. arrows.  knock on wood, they have all got there just fine so far.

Hi Arrows on the Mission,

Do you still need feathers?
If not, I have some Turkey Primaries and Secondaries I could trade.
