I got the blade from Alabama Damascus Steel (Google it). I think they have the prettiest knife blanks and knife blades on the market. I used Osage scraps from my last bow for the scales and scrap brass pieces for the pins and a piece of scrap brass tubing for the hole. I finished the scales out in 4 coats of loc-tite super glue and I made the leather sheath from some Hobby Lobby scrap leather. I made it with a belt clip instead of a belt loop so I could wear it with my scrub pants at work. I really like the size and the feel of this knife as an everyday carry. I added the lace leather to give me a little extra to hold on to for wet work LOL. What do ya think? Thanks for looking!

That's a beauty Josh! I've never used a belt clip, great idea. Sweet knife. I've yet to do one finished in super glue, how do you go about that? dp

thanks guys! To finish one in super glue you just do all your sanding then squirt a little super glue and smooth it in with with your finger as fast as you can like in 10 seconds or so before your finger sticks to it. It usually fully cures within 3-4 minutes. I wipe it over with steel wool between coats to keep it smooth. IT is the fastest drying finish I have ever used and you can put several coats on it pretty fast. It is perfect for knife handles and all oily woods that finish will not dry on.

That is a Good Looking Blade n Sheath...
I Love Bodark Under Glass!!!
CA Glue is my favorite finish at present.
And Loc-Tite CA glue works Very Well for me.
Hot Stuff is another good one, followed by Titebond CA Glue.

Nice work, Josh. I've heard a lot of good things about Alabama Damascus. Do you know what types of steel are in there?
