Show me your handle wraps
« on: May 21, 2012, 11:33:59 pm »
Ok, so I'll admit I'm addicted to Strunk wraps. For those not familiar they are a style of handle wraps that master bowyer John Strunk developed. Here is one that Mr. Strunk did on a bow that I made with him. It's not the best photo but if you want another view of a Strunk wrap just look at the bow on the front of TBB v1.

All my bows so far have this style hand wrap and I may just keep on using it but part of me wants to try something new on my latest bow. I'm looking for some inspiration that might tempt me into trying something new. So show me your best handle wraps so I can steal your idea.  >:D
Thanks in advance.

I like a simple leather wrap with a little stitching.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

"Walk softly, and carry a bent stick."

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through him."  Col. 3:17
