I made this one over a three day period while working and waiting for mortar to dry at the end of each day.
Georgetown flake, direct percussion and pressure flaking

Sheesh 1442, that's beautiful.  Mighty elegant.  I take my hat off to your point, sir.

I'd been plugging away at my effort and sat down to make it happen yesterday.  Here is the result.
Doesn't look like I get to proclaim victory over this months point before deadline...I had a couple of choice words when it snapped.

Really pretty point 1442,
Bummer Steve but let me ask did you get your flake? Always better when you at least get your flake.
Outback maybe their still all practicing.
Any ideas for March?

OK,
I think decature bases are really neat the way the curve of the ears transition into the notches.
I started my base too narrow but when flaking around the ear into the notch just felt like therapy or something, and it felt good.
I can.t explain it but I'm gonna try to make another one just to experience the therapeutics again.

I wish I could say yes.  At least I know what I did wrong - just didn't take the appropriate measure for setting up the platform as I'd been on a run of knocking off nice flakes.  Went for that "last" middle of body flake and el snapo.  Oh well, I'll make two points out of it.

I'll be pushing to make another one as I go...can't let it win, after all.  Curious to see what's selected next.

Thanks guys.
