Osage haul

This is the best osage tree i ever found. Got two logs from the main trunk a 73incher and a 66incher. Almost zero twist. Had to quarter them to load. Nice haul.  Make sure to seal the ends and spray them with bug spray.

Nice ring thickness.  I don't think I've found any like that.  My back hurts just looking at it.

Those are the thickest rings i ever found around here. I sealed the ends with glue before i even loaded onto the truck.

That should keep you busy for a week or two  >:D Is that a homelite chainsaw, I had an older one about 5 years ago that I got in the back of a blazer I bought for $50.

Wonder if that wood grows anywhere by me, I'd love to find some.  ???

You don't know if osage grow round you? I believe from ohio, kentucky, to Oklahoma, to texas, and I believe even in remote places in california it grows. Where do you live?

      Years ago I was running my dogs in Ca on some abondoned ranch land and found a bunch oof hedge apples. Had no idea what they were. I brought some home just because they were strange. Now the place is built up with homes.

i live in northern Mt and osage doesn't grow around here at all ( trust me i checked!! ) that's some nice lookin osage there!!
