Very nice! Everyone of em looks dang lethal and handy to put into action.  You're a bad influence   on me Rich.  Every time I see one of your bows, my next bow is shorter than the last one I made.  Glad to see you put em up.  Josh

Seriously beautiful bows sir! Love the "ears" both on the bow and that you are calling them "ears" in the first place.  ;D

Those are gorgeous Rich.  The first two real short ones are absolutely incredible. I wish I had the skill/ materials to make something like those.... You truly are an inspiration to me Rich. You and your bows have helped me to appreciate the beauty and power of these simple bendy bows, an have helped me to come into my own as a bowyer that focuses on these super simple bows. Thanks for that inspiration, and would like to meet ya some day.

Man those are some seriously short bows. Did I read right that some of them are edge grained splits from staves?

Thanks ya'll appreciate the kind remarks....yes Dauntless you read right...before I built some stave bows all I ever built were edge grain....split or sawed from quarters then surfaced by machine.

Ifrit send me a pm and we'll see if we can get some edge grain to ya to play with

that my friend is why i call you for advise !! , if there ever was a group of bows that are working for a living it these . stirs me when ones bent that way , as opposed to a long barely bending tiller. glad to see ya back posting ... you are a true master of your craft !!

great looking bows.  Gets me fired up to try a few shorties as I have two osage staves that are 48" long.  I little intimidated as the growth rings are so wide on this stuff.
