My Favorite Point yet!!!
« on: March 12, 2012, 08:50:41 pm »
I sat down today after work to work on this nice little piece of Sedalia Chert that Shannon gave me. For those of you who arent familiar with this stuff it comes from one little source in Missouri. Its a pleasure to work and has some AWESOME color as you can see. Its up there with HC in my book  :o  Anyway, I was thinkin bout that rock all day and just had to turn it into somethin when I got home. Heres what I ended up with  ;)  Its 3"L x 2"W with 1" deep notches with an 8:1 ratio. Thanks fer lookin!  :) :) :)

Dats perty, and I like the way you took the pics in an artistic way.

Thanks guys! Jamie, John, I know what u mean. I thought about taking it farther then that Big one popped out!   :o thought I lost it. Same thing happened on the other side just not as deep.

Shannon- thanks again for the rock man! What's the difference in Sedalia and Shoto?

You done that one justice for sure Will! Looks like you picked up a mixture of Shannon and Jesse style knapping with a little of your own thrown in and then used Shannon's photography skills with the pic's. Lol :D. Them boys are gonna get you hooked up there, ha...
