« on: August 16, 2007, 01:16:31 pm »
Here is some abo stuff. Top left is a bamboo drinkin' cup. Ta right is a avacado mortar and to its right is a avacado wood anvil. Bottom are 2 flintknappin' clubs . One is orange the other persimmon used fer "toilette" ta borrow Hillbilly's word an rhyolite(cry-a-lot) and granite. All made ole'way with stone drills an scrapers an sharkskin an coral fer sandin'. Took a while especially hole in mortar. Enjoy ;D.......bob

Jamie, When I lived in coastal SC we would catch small sand sharks , cut them into steaks, soak them in salt water to remove the ammonia and cook them like pork chops on the grill. They do urinate through their skin and that is where the ammonia comes from. Good eats! ;D     Pat

shark is good stuf, i have only had it in restaurants but it was beautiful stuff.

also, i wouldn't turn your nose up to urinating through skin, since sweat has much the same chemical make up as urine, and you know a lot of that has dripped into your mouth and eyes while bent over a bow makin shavings!

it's fun Jamie. It comes down to,they want the fish you have, and you either end up on their stringer or you have a bunch of fish on yours  ;D .It,s like bowhunting in zero gravity. When the big boys show up the spear point comes off and the 357 powerhead goes on. :o

You big coward.  If you cant get them with the spear, maybe you should try a big knife.  Justin
