Paul; I had a wide 12" keokuk going and had a big bite run out the side. Now it's a long, fatter then I wanted Scottsbluff.

No worries Eddie. Man I had a big ole clovis looking thing going out of that big hunk of coral you mailed me about fifty years ago and snapped about two inches off the tip of it  :(. I'm gonna revisit that one soon I think..

Nah, the 15th is just the cut-off for signing up.  Here was my arbitrary rule on finishing the point....

Mail your point(s) to your recipient(s) by April 1, 2012.

There's no magic to that either, other than we don't want it to go on for months.  If that's too restrictive we can push it out.

I'm in for 2. I'm really out of practice so I guess I should get started soon.

This is the last day to get in the Point in the Hat (PITH) point trade.  The cut-off is midnight tonight.  We will draw names tomorrow morning if we have time, tomorrow evening for sure.  You will be sent (via PM - make sure your mailbox is not full) as many names as you put in points.  You'll need to PM that person(s) and get their address(es) to send your point(s) to.  Please send points as soon as you can so this doesn't drag on.  Also, please post pictures of the points you receive and who they're from.  Do your best, but don't sweat it if your skills are not equal to those of the person you are sending to.  (That's for my benefit as much as anybody else. :))  I've suggested April 1st as the cut-off date to have your points sent, let me know if that is an issue for anybody.  Above all else, have fun.
