Great bow Pat....I love the tiller. I'm curious how you do your side nocks because my friend  is wanting to try them. I started another thread if you want to post there.... I love that your giving the bow to a kid.... way to pass it on! I got two kids bows started now..... can't wait to give them away.

Pat you ROCK!  Love seeing/hearing about folks getting the younger Gen involved.  Half-Eye is also a rare gem in this arena...before I made any bows that worked he sent a pile of bows to my 2 boys, they still use em daily and it really set the hook deep for Primitive bows in them.

Cheers!  8)

Pat, you should have made the challenge last year.  It might have kept those boyscouts busy and out of the knapping pit  ;D

I was very proud of those 32 Boy Scouts(and one girl  8) ). They all finished their bows and got to shoot them. We started on Saturday and were done after lunch on Sunday. They were all well behaved. What they did after hours in the knapping pit was the pit bosses worries!  ;)

Is there anything more fun than seeing the look on a kid's face when they finally comprehend that yes, you really are giving them the bow?

That's a super idea Pat! Nice looking bow! Those drawings are great. Some little one is going to cherish that bow for some time to come.

Nice bow Pat.  I love the Eastern Woodlands styles the best; guess it's the little bit of Abnaki finding it's way out.  The stain job and drawings came out great.  You're going to make some kid really happy with that.
