unfinished 64" elm 67@32" full draw shot...finished it plain

heres some fun experimenting im having today that i thought id share with ya all. its a longer version of my mighty mouse in whitewood form. R/D molly bendy. its 67 pounds at 32" here. yeeesh...im surprised how smooth it is for such a short bow n long draw. this design fricking rocks. i still need to reduce the levers down,n then shoot it,but i thought id share this now cus i think its too cool. she still maintains a half inch reflex after unstrung. i started with 3 1/2" heat treated in. i had to put a wrap in the upper limb because when i reflexed it,it pulled a tension splinter on the belly. but shes holding. hmmm? looks like i could go a couple more inches >:D

i almost did sonny cus i thought the same thing  :laugh:

yeah chris..its hard to hold that kind of draw in a target stance,as you see in my second pic im much more at ease in my warbow stance

after an hour shes back up to 2" reflex...i have no idea how im gonna shoot this thing in...no big deal really cus i prob wont put a finish on it. its just a demo

a lot of draw for 64"!!!!  Very impressive! I love when you basically try to brake a bow and it will not. But when I do that they don't go back into a reflex? Nice job  blackhawk!
