It's pretty common for people to catch, cut, and release boar hogs down here.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

They are moving into southern central nebraska. I contacted the game and parks about hunting them and they are not allowing it. They feel that hunting pressure would just scatter and spread them.
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

In Arizona you have to have a license to hunt jackrabbits, but for hogs it is shoot on sight. No license required.
Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason is you made a bad decision.

Cool Post Cracker.  Good lookin' dog too.  We are starting to get them in central Indiana I hear.  I think it's shoot on site.  I need to find me a farmer w/ a hog problem.  Any of you Hoosiers know anyone near Monroe County?  dpgratz

South Dakota has legislated fines and imprisonment to anyone releasing wild hogs.

Bevan, I guess you gotta modify the shoot/shovel/shut up to shoot/barbecue/shovel it in your mouth/shut up.    >:D
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

The real bummer is that they are 'infesting' a state park. Prime area for a limited hunt. And still the game & parks says no. leave them alone. Probably end up paying for a professional hunter to come in and snipe them.

Just curious - what would be the point of releasing them? Aren't they just as destructive regardless of whether or not they have their family jewels?
