Looking real impressive guys!
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

And so we wait.......... :'( I just hate waiting, not a good personality trait when bow building turns your crank. Just got done sinewing so and so's bow. Its basically two light layers and one medium layer for a pin stripe. Im pretty sure it will work sweet and shoot even sweeter. It didnt shoot bad at 20" before the sinew. I used nasty, stinky, sticky, gummy, smooth as silk to spread hide glue.

Well it aint you Keenan. I would have to wear a diaper around the shop if I had orders to build you a bow......and I think you know what that diaper would be for buddy!

Here she is. I put 50 shots through her today. She shoots very well. Got 4 coats of Tru-Oil on, hemp cord wrapped handle and a floppy rest. Tip overlay are cow horn. Just a plain old work horse.   This bow does have a few abnormalities, a little in one limb and a good bit in the other. Other than swirling grain on the back and discolored wood on the belly I think it is sound and just part of the decoration.  8)

swirly grain on the back...

...and the belly...

Man there has been some beautiful work posted already , but Pat, that bow just made my heart skip a beat! :o.  Your idea of a work horse is the epitome of modesty!   Josh
