Kat, those all look like great prospects. I like the lines of number one.  I have had a hard time making those decisions sometimes and always hone in on what is the best shooter at that persons draw length. But to be safe you could just send me all three >:D

Ok shes almost finished! I'm hoping the new owner will be enjoying her soon. Its Pacific Yew, 64'' and pulls around #55 @ 28''. This trade bow has been a blast, and I have learned a ton. this is also the first bow that i have made from a stave, and I don't know if I ever want to do it any other way. Anyways let me know what you guys think. Roy

Roy, She's a dandy bow!  I agree, once you tackle a stave bow it's almost impossible to go back to anything else

I would have NO problems taking ownership of that jewel Roy. Very nice bow. And like Keenan said, its tough to steer clear of stave bows once you try them.

Here is the first brace of one of the trade bows that I'm working on. This one is snake backed Cascara. Not bad for first brace but still have a fair amount of weight to drop.

Wildkatt, That first one in the first group sure is purty (They're all real Nice!) and I'd be happy with ANY WildKatt bow you want to send me.

Roy, That Yew bow sure is a beaut. Nice lines. I'd take that one any day too. Staves and limbs are all I've worked with so far.

Man I'm going to have to get going on my trade bow, Ya'll are leavin me in the dust. I got a good excuse though, been working lots of hours (not complaining though it's a nice change from not havin enough work) Got my roughed out floor tillered stave chosen though and hope to get a chance to get crackin (er..I mean bendin) real soon.

Thanks Steve,  yes that is chomper he definitely has the trap door mouth. After doing the carp backed bow I'm looking at him much different and thinking of renaming Chomper to Backer, or skins or  :o ::) >:D

Katt...I kinda like #1, myself, but they all look good and I'd be proud to have any of them!!

Roy...That's a great job for your first stave (I still have to make that plunge...when I get some). I admire you for giving it up for your trade bow. I would be a little sentimental about my first from a stave, especially if it turned out like that one. I guess that's what the trade is all about, though.

Keenan...That looks like it's gonna be a good un!!
