    If I could make one successful arrow head the trip will be worth it. I have been wanting to learn napping for years and somehow it just never happens. I hear it is more addictive than bow making and needs to be approached with caution.

Badger, there will be all kinds of people to help with your knapping goals, and  it truly is addictive I've been to the classic 3yrs an have yet to shoot a complete course, gotta get my knapping fix. Last year I think I knapped 4 days from morning to nite , man my hands were tore up from all the rock beating I did. Later Bob

outback,last year at night i would sit in the knapping pit and watch all the goings on.i want to knap so bad i can taste it.i am tring to make bows right now,so that is on he back burner.there is so much talent in that pit,it is unbelieveble.i make alot of arrows but cannot knap.it is fun just watching those guys.lots of talent there.one day i will learn.it is a good place to learn.

Last year I got in the Pit one day and made preforms. I finally got back in on the last day and found out all the Boy Scouts decided to finish them for me . There is so much going on it takes me a day just to gather up all my tools and what I have accumilated to go home.

Eddie,i remember the guys talking about the scouts breaking their rock.o well maybe it sparked some interest in them.

Yea, it did in one anyway, he took my brand new Bopper I bought from M Brackin.

Seabass, don,t be shy jump right in the pit an get bloodied, Someone will surely be willing to help ya out with all the questions that come with knapping, Heck I have been knapping for 5 yrs an still got alot of questions for the guys at the pit. Eddie , I think Mark split with that kid 60/ 40.
