A while back my mom said she'd like a piece of stained glass for the new cabin they're building. I told dad I'd check at a place here in the county I work that makes stained glass window, but just never did make the time to run up there. Finally today I was in the area and I decided to stop by. Unfortunately all they did was custom work for churches and stuff, but I got to chatting with the owner for several minutes and finally asked if he had any glass scraps he was going to throw out. He took me to a big tub out back that was full of thick glass in all sorts of colors. Then he went back inside, got a box, and told me to fill it up and come back if I ever wanted any more. I got blues, greens, purples, reds, oranges, and some clear. The only downside is I can't knap worth a crap so I'm probably going to ruin all of it.
