new bow
« on: November 27, 2011, 09:39:50 pm »
Finally got my shop set up again. This is the first bow built from the new shop. It's hickory, deer antler arrow rest, and tried some fake copperhead skin from rudderbows. It's 68" long, about 45#, and shoots great. I think I'll take it hunting on her maiden trip to the woods tomorrow. Made the bow for a friend, trading him for a knife. thanks for lookin.

Thanks guys. The fabric skins look great in my opinion. They went on easy, and were cheap, $15. No snakes big enough for real skins in my neck of the woods.

Thanks everybody. It sure does feel good to have things back to normal. My family does have a lot to be thankful for. Things could have turned out a lot worse than they did. I'm really starting to like those bendy handle D bows, quick and simple.
