osage for a friend

Here is an osage bow I made for a friend of mine as a trade for a knife he made me. A fun bow to make, my 10th or so. Its 58" ntn, 52# at 25". Riser is walnut, tips are some kind of exotic wood for pen blanks I got at rockler, a very hard, dense wood. Its sanded with progressively finer grit up to 400, burnished and finished with 10 coats of tung oil and 2 coats of paste wax. hope you like it.

I gotta say you sure know your beans when it comes to finishing off a bow!  With a tiller job as sweet as that, I can see why you take your time making sure it looks professionally finished out.
