this log has been sitting in a pile of firewood , and is just for testing the saw . i figured if it would cut seasoned hickory it would cut anything. my plan josh is to turn out a bunch of backing strips and cores . i have hickory , white and red oak , beech, sycamore , cypress , ash , mulberry , american hornbeam, sweet gum, and a little black walnut.soon as i get up and running good ill have some for trade and such!

Hey Ken, if you happen across any burls and can cut them to reasonably sized pieces I'd love to try to work out a deal with you.

Most guys look forward to the weekend when they can saw some logs....in their recliner!  You just happen to be a bit more literal about your sawing!

Cool, glad to see you got it and it cuts tough wood.  Wonder if it would do seasoned osage??
