This is an Eastern Hophornbeam flatbow that I built along with a neighbor,and friend, that has let us hunt his property for the last 20 years or so.We cut the tree,(4 1/2" diameter), in the spring of 2011,I roughed it out,formed it green for a little over a month,then put it up in the rafters in my haybarn this summer.It is heat-treated,has osage tip overlays,and a osage arrow rest. 66'' tip to tip,64 1/2 nock to nock.50#@26".walnut stain with a cane grip.
