That is impressive for sure!  Shoots fast already, and will only get better with a lighter string.  Thanks for posting this bow, it's very inspiring!

Here are a couple of pictures of it finished up. I made the overlays from a piece of clear horn and black over the top. Finished with some stuff called 'antique oil'...seems to have done the job because i've shot it for 2 days straight in very heavy rain! The arrow speed is with a 425 grain arrow and fast flight string- haven't tested it with 10gpp yet but it is fast fast fast! I may make a dangerously light string and 550gn arrow just to see how close to 200fps it is. I'm also only drawing it 26 1/2 inch I think it might come close if I drew it 28inch?

That is one beautiful, impressive bow! Love everything about it. I have 3 seasoned staves ready to be worked and now I can't wait to try them. Congratulations on such a fine bow.

Thanks fella's, this bow is fast becoming my favourite. I've been shooting with it at at my local 3D club and have had to change my aiming points because I kept hitting high on the longer shots, even out to 40 yds I don't have to give any extra elevation. It's funny when people pick it up the normal response is 'wow thats so light! What draw weight is it?' I think most people don't believe it's 55lb!

Very impressive bow Mike.  Be careful at those 3Ds, I've had compound guys put set in a wood bow when they pull it to their release anchor points  (some are as long as 32").  It isn't so bad if you've had it that far on the tiller tree, but I usually stop at my draw length, and then keep the tall guys from playing with them.  Good work.

Mike, I think there is no reason to do not test this beauty with 10 gpp, am I right? All other tests do not allow us te understand exactly it's speed and it looks very fast to me!!!

I am inspired.  Been looking for some BL for some time now but haven't found any that it is usable.
I agree with what George said...Be careful letting the wheelie guys pull it.
