Black locust flatbow.Not for bow of the month.

Here is a black locust flatbow I just finished up.The bow is 64 inches tip to tip,inch and a half at the widdest and fades down to half inch at the nocks,the bow has a braintan buckskin handlewrap and is 55#@ 26 inches it is a fast shooter and I believe I will hunt with this one the rest of the season.

Nice and simple... I love it! I especially like those smooth simple nocks.

    Man  I  love   Black  Locust!!!!  I've   built  a  bunch of  them,,,,,,,,but  that  braced  profile is  the  best  looking  I  have  ever  seen!!!!  Wow!!!  I  bet   the  cast  on  that  bow  is  as  good  as  any  backed  bow?   I  love   the  handle!   I  know  I'll  be  looking  at  this  one  for  a while  Good  job!!! Them bent profiles say it all.....perfect. Deer aint gonna think much of it though ::)
