I really enjoy your bows, especially your take-downs.  This one is no exception.

Gotta admit it is tricky to blend in nocks so they look really smooth, there always seems to be a change in cross section at some point.
I've gone through the horn and into the wood in the grooves before now >:(, not a prob as long as it's only at the side. I've just matched it up either side and called it a 'feature'  O:)
I did refrain from mentioning the flipped tips on an ELB, as it's so handsom I thought I wouldn't mention it ;).
The fd shots are great, and 60# is a nice amount of grunt.. just enough to deter any trouble from French Knights :P

Thank you all for your kind comments. I use this site so much for my inspiration I seems right to support it with some pictures of my work. And when I have moved and am settled again (next year fingers crossed) I will be subscribing to the mag again :D

Keenan, it is your work in Yew that was most on my mind when designing this bow, thanks man!

Nat.

Nat, I was just looking back over this posting and noticed your comment about the BOM and have to disagree, You are kicking out some very worthy bows and I think this one certainly has some potential. It is sometimes perplexing watching the voting on the BOM as it seems to go in cycles from a nice ELB style to short bows then authentic replicas and so on.  You just never know what the flavor of the month may bring. Again that is a very sweet bow and great example of problem solving with the billets.

Keenan is right about "flavor of the month".  I know I feel that way about what bow on my rack that I like the bast, except it's more of a day by day thing.

I was conflicted on the slight recurves on the tips, un-traditional just automatically makes me frown.  But the full draw turned it into a nice smile, that's a lovely effect on the longbow.  Beautiful piece of work, plenty to be proud of.

Awesome! I love it!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?
