The attack of the STACK!!!!!!

Here are three photos of the before. 






And then with just the right power he swings and .....crack !!!!! The crowd goes CRAZY!!!!  Well kinda like that but there was no one around so I thought I would post the most amazing hit of the day!

Ok sports fans here it is from another angle.  What made me suprised was the lack of convexity.  I really did not think this was going to work.  What fun!

It's amazing what you can do with the right angle, platform, accuracy and a sharp whack! Good one..

Dang, there are so many times I've tried to do that, but the only time it works is when I don't want it to. :'(  Wish you'd had a video cam running on that one.  Nice work.   George

This mornings work.  I cleaned up the edges a bit and got it worked into a nice biface.

I got up early to work a little more on this point.  I had to be very carful not to create steps because the large stack hinged when it was removed.  This left a valley on the left side that has to be handeled very carfully.

Looks like you might have a little rabbit point in the middle of that stack. Great wack! Love the different colors in the stone. Nice job all round. I would have wound up with two or more pieces of gravel back at the wack.

I wanted a point with a flat tail but I kept knocking off the other side when I was doing the final passes.  I did that three times lucky I left enough material on the tail to finish it out at 100 grains. Most of my points are 100 grains.
