Side tillering can be an excellent method to reduce weight, I use it all the time, but not at the expense of more set, Study your tiller closely, if it is good now try to keep it as it is while you lower the weight and the set shouldnt change at all. The last 1/2 of the limb is where the extra mass affects you the most so you might take advantage of your retiller to reduce the mass in the out limbs a bit. Steve
