Thanks guys, I'm having a lot of fun making this one.  Might have to make a few more once I get past Christmas.

I have a question for everyone involved in the trade.  I seemed to have messed my knee up pretty bad.  I have an apointment with an orthopedic doctor to find out just how bad.  Right now I don't feel like working on anything in my shop.  If I don't improve in time to make something, would it be OK to give a couple of nice staves?  There is a lot of time and work to get a tree to stave form.  Hopefully I am able to make something, but I want to have a back up plan in place to make sure my person doesn't get left out.  I'm just looking for some honest opinions.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Clint, you certainly put your all into harvesting the staves. In a situation like this I see no problem but a consensus should be reached by all involved.

Ok with me...they wouldn't be staves if you had not done some work with them. ;D

And on the greedy side....if you had my name ....I'd rather get a stave than nothing!! >:D :)

More importantly, I pray that you get healed up!  Your health is more important than projects or gifts or staves.

If you had my name I'd be perfectly thrilled to get a stave. I'd also be happy to see you all healed up. Ronnie
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Really???  Man up bubba >:D >:D

Just kidding.  I will pray that you heal up and that it is just bruised up.  I think that's a gracious offer on your part ;D

Making staves looks like a lot of work.  Sounds hand made and primitve.  Hope you're heal before seasons over.  Maybe I need to drive down there and cover one of you stands?  >:D  really... ;D maybe move some heavy stuff for you in the evening.  8)
