osage flatbow

Hello,
I tried again to build an osage bow (this time american osage) and here is the result. She is 59"ntn, 50# @ 28". 13/4 at the fades to 1/4 at the tips.Because of the thin rings and a thick knot in the middle of a limb she´s  backed with rawhide.

I hope you like my work. Sorry for my bad english. I wanted to make better fotos, but it´s raining .....
(And yes - my left arm should be deeper)

When I think of an Osage flatbow, that is exactly what comes to mind. Very nice bends and I love the camo job.

It looks like the back of your bow got the same treatment my hunting clothes got when I was a poor lad.  scatter leaves across it and spraypaint.  Simple and very effective. A very nice touch to a great looking bow!

Nice camo!  I also like the full draw pic.  Great tiller.  That ought to meat on the table.  Good luck this season!
