A couple trees...and one from the tree

I made the first point at Flint Ridge, and second one was created yesterday.
 I made the hafted point Sat. morning and took that picture in the tree stand that evening. It weighed about 145g before hafting and flies just like my Zwickeys.
 Last pic is my built in tree stand "spittoon". Ya'll reckon them slugs like tobacco spit.

the first two are awesome Shannon but the hunting point is my fav. i like the simple deadly look.

 That looks like a killin', point, like the brass weight. I'm going to have to borrow that Idea, what cal? After you marinate them they ought to taste good sauteed in butter.

That's a brass insert in a carbon arrow   I've been wanting to do that for a while and finally did. It's an aluminum broadhead adapter slotted to hold a point. Then set with epoxy, wrapped with unwaxed B50 set in super glue. Primitive huh?

Shannon, been waiting to see your new primitive arrow beautiful points but I'm not going to comment on your arrow . What kind of material is the green pine tree , I know you told me at the ridge but man thats   been 2 weeks ago, I can't remember nothin anymore Later Bob

I have shot my target like 20 times before the glue and sinew fail. (With pine pitch)  I wonder which one would hold up better.  We should do an experiment at the classic in May.  I know that the pine gives a little.  Anyway nice points can't wait to hear the results.

Beautiful points Shannon! Love the carbon/arrowhead...I did that a couple years ago. Shot em from my compound. I shot a squirrel with one, but the head shattered. I bet it's perfect with a trad bow.

What makes me sick is not the slugs  swimming in chew spit,and not the carbon arrow,BUT those awesome looking heads is what makes me sick.
